Cancellation policy

How cancellation works
Every listing shows its cancellation terms before you book. They say how much is refunded if you cancel at least a certain number of hours before the start, for example “full refund up to 48 hours before”.
When you book, those terms are saved with your booking. If the business changes its terms later, your booking keeps the terms you agreed to.
If you cancel
- Cancel from My bookings and give a short reason. You will see the refund amount before you confirm.
- The refund is the best rate your saved terms allow at the moment you cancel. If no refund window still applies, no refund is due unless the business agrees to one.
- A full refund is issued straight away. A partial refund is sent for processing, then shown on your booking once it is paid back.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. How quickly the money arrives depends on the payment provider and your bank.
Holds and requests
- Instant bookings are held for 15 minutes while you pay. If you don't finish paying, the hold ends and nothing is charged.
- Booking requests that the business does not answer within 24 hours (or before the start, if sooner) lapse, and nothing is charged.
- You can withdraw a request at no cost until the business accepts it.
If the business cancels
If a business cancels a confirmed booking for any reason, you get a full refund, whatever the listing's cancellation terms say. The business must give a reason, and we may follow up with it. Businesses that cancel often may be limited or removed.
Late arrivals, no-shows and changes
If you arrive too late to take part, or don't come, this counts as a cancellation at the start time, so usually no refund is due. To change the date or party size, message the business from your booking; if the change isn't possible, you can cancel under your saved terms and book again.
Weather, safety and events outside anyone's control
If an experience cannot go ahead safely, because of severe weather, an official warning, a road closure or a security situation, the business should cancel it, and you get a full refund.
If the experience goes ahead but you decide not to go, your saved terms apply. Many businesses will offer a new date or a refund anyway; contact them from your booking, and contact us if you need help.
Your rights under Lebanese law
This policy does not reduce any right you have under Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005, including its rules on contracts made at a distance. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a booking or to be refunded, we will apply it, even if the listing's terms say otherwise.
If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
Getting help
Start by messaging the business from your booking. If that doesn't solve it, contact us through our Contact page with your booking reference, and we will look at it.
